These five acrylic paintings trace the shifting moods of the seasons. Winter appears as a young pregnant woman, embodying both fragility and renewal. An overcast day in the park captures a dishevelled man feeding pigeons, their restless presence echoing the chill of early spring. By the river, a young woman pulls her coat closed against a blustery wind, holding onto warmth as the season turns. Summer unfolds in the quiet intimacy of a man and child gazing out a window toward a sunlit street. Autumn arrives in Montreal through stylized figures dancing, their movement celebrating the vibrancy and transience of fall. More recently, I have been interested in exploring layering of watercolour paints and working with different subject matter.
